Adult webmaster owning their own website: is it a profitable business?

Posted by admin as Adult Webmaster

Any good ressources on the web?

What type of partnership or deals are the most profitable and what are the taking like?

Thank you for any infos!!
Meeeee! I guess I’ll repost this questions later tonight, when all the dirty people are up and wank… working!

I’ve spoken with a number of people who run "adult" web sites, and many are profitable while others are only marginally profitable or lose money. The most important thing to realize is that "adult websites" are one of the most competitive segments of the internet, with not only aggressive competition but also with some very aggressive ILLEGAL tactics used by some folks.

For most adult sites, there are four distinct major categories of costs:
- "content" (producing or obtaining licenses to display pictures, videos, etc.);
- "infrastructure" (bandwidth and server capacity);
- "marketing" (affiliate programs, PPC, etc.); and
- "order processing" (usually using an outside company, and paying a premium because of extra support, high dispute rates, and high reversal rates).

There are a number of web sites like "ynot" that provide information and discussion forums for Adult Webmasters, often favoring a specific company or marketing strategy; but be aware that many of the participants have their own agendas; often they will lie to advance their own financial interests, and you usually can’t trust advice or claims from anonymous strangers.

Google AdSense Program Policies

Publishers participating in the AdSense program are required to adhere to the following policies. We ask that you read these policies carefully and refer to this document often. If you fail to comply with these policies, we may disable ad serving to your site and/or disable your AdSense account. While in many cases we prefer to work with publishers to achieve policy compliance, we reserve the right to disable any account at any time. If your account is disabled, you will not be eligible for further participation in the AdSense program.

Please note that we may change our policies at any time, and pursuant to our  it is your responsibility to keep up to date with and adhere to the policies posted here.

Clicks on Google ads must result from genuine user interest. Any method that artificially generates clicks or impressions on your Google ads is strictly prohibited. These prohibited methods include but are not limited to repeated manual clicks or impressions, using robots, automated click and impression generating tools, third-party services that generate clicks or impressions such as paid-to-click, paid-to-surf, autosurf, and click-exchange programs, or any deceptive software. Please note that clicking on your own ads for any reason is prohibited. Failure to comply with this policy may lead to your account being disabled.

  • May not promote sites displaying ads through unsolicited mass emails or unwanted advertisements on third-party websites
  • May not compensate users for viewing ads or performing searches, or promise compensation to a third party for such behavior
  • May not place misleading labels above Google ad units - for instance, ads may be labeled “Sponsored Links” but not “Favorite Sites”

Site Content

While Google offers broad access to a variety of content in the search index, publishers in the AdSense program may only place Google ads on sites that adhere to our content guidelines, and ads must not be displayed on any page with content primarily in an unsupported language. Sites displaying Google ads may not include:

  • Violent content, racial intolerance, or advocacy against any individual, group, or organization
  • Pornography, adult, or mature content
  • Hacking/cracking content

  • Sales or promotion of beer or hard alcohol
  • Sales or promotion of tobacco or tobacco-related products
  • Sales or promotion of prescription drugs
  • Sales or promotion of products that are replicas or imitations of designer goods

Site and Ad Behavior

Sites showing Google ads should be easy for users to navigate and should not contain excessive pop-ups. AdSense code may not be altered, nor may standard ad behavior be manipulated in any way that is not explicitly permitted by Google.

  • Sites showing Google ads may not contain pop-ups or pop-unders that interfere with site navigation, change user preferences, or initiate downloads.
  • Any AdSense code must be pasted directly into webpages without modification. AdSense participants are not allowed to alter any portion of the code or change the behavior, targeting, or delivery of ads. For instance, clicks on Google ads may not result in a new browser window being launched.
  • A site or third party cannot display our ads, search box, search results, or referral buttons as a result of the actions of any software application such as a toolbar.
  • No AdSense code may be integrated into a software application.
  • Webpages containing AdSense code may not be loaded by any software that can trigger pop-ups, redirect users to unwanted websites, modify browser settings, or otherwise interfere with site navigation. It is your responsibility to ensure that no ad network or affiliate uses such methods to direct traffic to pages that contain your AdSense code.
  • Referral offerings must be made without any obligation or requirement to end users. Publishers may not solicit email addresses from users in conjunction with AdSense referral units.
  • Publishers using online advertising to drive traffic to pages showing Google ads must comply with the spirit of Google’s For instance, if you advertise for sites participating in the AdSense program, the advertising should not be deceptive to users.

Ad Placement

AdSense offers a number of ad formats and advertising products. Publishers are encouraged to experiment with a variety of placements, provided the following policies are respected:

  • Up to three ad units may be displayed on each page.
  • A maximum of two Google AdSense for search boxes may be placed on a page.
  • Up to three link units may also be placed on each page.
  • Up to three referral units may be displayed on a page, in addition to the ad units, search boxes, and link units specified above.
  • AdSense for search results pages may show only a single ad link unit in addition to the ads Google serves with the search results. No other ads may be displayed on your search results page.
  • No Google ad or Google search box may be displayed in a pop-up, pop-under, or in an email.
  • Elements on a page must not obscure any portion of the ads.
  • No Google ad may be placed on any non-content-based pages.
  • No Google ad may be placed on pages published specifically for the purpose of showing ads, whether or not the page content is relevant.

Competitive Ads and Services

In order to prevent user confusion, we do not permit Google ads or search boxes to be published on websites that also contain other ads or services formatted to use the same layout and colors as the Google ads or search boxes on that site. Although you may sell ads directly on your site, it is your responsibility to ensure these ads cannot be confused with Google ads.

This post confirms the
ownership of the site and that the site adheres to AdSense policies and
Terms and Conditions

How Do You Prevent Being Involved in This Fraud?

Posted by admin as Adult Webmaster

I have written several articles on the subject of product creation from the standpoint of a product that is tangible. This article will deal with the subject of product creation that is not a physical manufactured good. One of the largest growth areas in product creation is in informational products, go to www.instant-video-suite.com. These can be audio and video It’s not that I’m advocating that you do something naughty with Google, as in “I’ll show you how to do this “black hat” thing and not get caught”. No, far from that! It’s just that many web site owners are getting their Google Adsense account terminated when they have done nothing wrong to deserve this. Considering the money that some of them are receiving from Adsense, they would certainly not want to do anything to jeopardize that income.

The extra money is the reason why people are willing to risk being booted by Google for click fraud. These people know the risks, so I have no sympathy for them, not at all.

So, what is Click fraud? Click fraud is the act of clicking on ads for the purpose of costing the advertiser money. It is simply the same as paying out cash for false leads. As many other webmaster are aware of this problem, for more details visit to www.guardadsense.com that being click fraud, they are of one mind that this is a very big problem which is affecting them all.

So how do you prevent being involved in this fraud?

This is what you do. The majority of web hosts are offering access logs. Once this is offered to you, it is necessary that you hand it over to Google as well. This allows them to look for any suspicious activity on your site. Problems like this are very serious, and giving it to them is like saying that “I’m doing nothing wrong here, I have nothing to hide”, act. In the end, of course, for more details visit to www.googleatmcash.com you would want to help them in any way you can in solving this problem.

It can also help if you have “click monitoring” software. If you don’t have one yet, you should try and get one. If you are counting the beans, don’t worry about that, as most of this software is free.

As usual, all the information you have received should be turned over to Google. This is showing Google that you too are fighting against click frauds and are in no way a part of it.

Study your server logs so that you may detect suspicious activity which you can then report to Google. Report anything that you may find “odd”, may it be big or small.

It is also a sensible move to disable these offending ads from your own IP address and local area. This will certainly prevent accidents, like “oops, I didn’t mean to click on that Adsense ad”, and will not make Google mistake another user as you. You can do this through a hatches file. This will prevent Google mistaking this as clicking on your own ads, and be kicked out because of it.

Keep your Adsense turned off on sites that use pop-up and pop-under ads. Your ads should not be displayed on content sites that promote illegal activity or tampering of the legal rights of other people or businesses. Included in this are the content that is considered adult and gambling. If you think that you may be breaking this rule, immediately remove your content or Adsense from these web pages.

Be truthful and “fess up” to Google about times when you might have (accidentally, wink), clicked on your own ads. Or the times when you have done something that is against the Terms of Service that they are implementing. Confessing is way better than Google learning about it eventually. And they will, for they are the experts in this field of tracking. It would mean eventual termination, and not getting back what you have worked so hard for.

Make sure you tell your family or friends about Adsense on your website, so that they don’t start “helping” you by clicking on them to make money without you knowing about it. They may be doing more harm to you than help by trying it in the first place.

The same goes for anyone else you know. As I said, Google is good, really good, at tracking false clicks, that is clicks that are not “organic”, whose origin is primarily through search engines. If ever someone you know chanced upon your Adsense, you make certain that they understand that they cannot click on a whole bunch of your ads in a small time frame. It would be wise to brief them on the important things about Adsense, and what not to do with them.

Most pay per click networks have different measures in hand to protect website owners against click frauds. Other search engines can track more than 50 data points, IP addresses, browser information, user’s session info and pattern recognition. They also have “systems” available that detects fraud. Not to mention the specialized teams who are constantly monitoring the internet, to ensure that advertisers don’t get ripped off via click frauds. Remember that advertisers are the main source of revenue for Google, so they will aggressively protect their income source, believe it!

Google offer suggestions on how to avoid click fraud. “Negative keywords” can be used to keep your Adsense showing on products and services that are in no way related to yours. Also try adding tracking URLs to your links, so you can track all incoming traffic from Google.

In summation, just follow the rules, and just want to do the “right thing”. As long as you do the right thing, you will not upset Google, and get banned, sometimes permanently. Just keep your eyes open, and enjoy your honest income.

How can I make each word in my site’s name searchable in Google?

Posted by admin as Adult Webmaster

I created a site 2 weeks ago and after struggling a little managed to create the sitemap.xml and submitted it to google…today it finally shows in the google results but only when searching for ‘AdultPSNGamers’… how can I get the site to show up also when searching for ‘Adult PSN Gamers’ ??

Please, I’m not a Webmaster expert and my knowledge in PHP and HTML is bad…so if you know the solution, could you be a little specific? thanks!

Google has crawlers (bots) that will find it on their own. You can submit your site to them, but it really won’t make it any faster. The bots will find it soon enough and it will be searchable.

Is It Ilegal To Post Naked Pictures Of Someone On A Amateur Adult Website?

Posted by admin as Adult Webmaster

My friend sent me naked pictures of a girl he talked to on Twitter but he never met her. He told me I can do whatever with the pictures since he doesn’t talk to her anymore so I posted the pictures of her on a amateur site and a week later i was contacted by a "lawyer" that said that i need to take them down or I will face prosecution. I really think it’s a friend of the female contacting me but i don’t know for sure. Plus I have to ask them webmaster to take them down because after you post the pictures you can’t take them off only the text. Was it ilegal to do what I did?
And the female is 21and I posted them for free
Also they were pictures taken with a cell phone of her posing

You would need a model release for someone over 18. You would need a defense attorney and a new brain if the person was under 18.
